Reflection for Week 5

HAI. Weekends is ending again. ):

I am actually writing my storytelling assignment now but I just couldn't continue where I paused. It's like, I really don't want to think about it anymore. It's over. No point looking back right?

Lessons were as usual, just that a few lessons were cancelled due to red camp (thank you). And after rotting and thinking of inspiration for 4 days, I finally got a story for my short video. Oh anyway, I am really really grateful for having good friends and classmates. They not only gave me some ideas on how I can improvise my story, they also make sure I finish them on time. Of course I did the same. (: We are a bunch of ambitious kids in fsv (in a good way) and our dreams is to get recognition for our IBP in year 3 which is still a long way to go. But still, really thank you, guys! :D

We watched Shawshanks Redemption for storytelling on Friday. After the movie, most of us ran out of the preview theatre because it was freezing cold. This reminds me of Introduction to Film actually.

I had a great day yesterday! I went to see 小小彬 and oh my goodness, he is freaking CUTE to the max. Go to my facebook page to see if you're interested! Had SushiTei for dinner and I ordered 6 different kinds of desserts. Awesome to the max. Shall post them in my APAD blog. So check it out there! :D

I have got alot of things to do but I do not have the mood. Come on, doing the thing I hated the most  - storyboard is not fun.

Finally back

Hello readers! XY is finally back to action. Yes finally back to civilization life, no more morning towels, prison food, ponchos and swamps. Finally no more forest days. :D

I am glad that I went for this internship because the people there were awesome especially my cute boss Pauline. Afterall, its a very good experience despite all the pissed off and fucked up moments.

20.10.2010 (hehe random)

Internship ended last week and I spent the remaining days meeting up with friends. Had sushi tei for lunch that day with Kasperkoh and it tasted so good especially after 21 days of hardcore production.

Headed to Expo to visit my darling Jasmine at work and lastly, met up with Sister & Jeffrey for dinner. Thanks for the treat & presents Sister! Need to get a new pair of shoes, new bagpack & afew more tops and bottom and I will be ready for school! A long, tiring and torturing semester ahead! Ciaooooo.

First week of mid term break

Yay!! First week of mid term break is ending meaning I'm only left with another week to complete my assignments. Holy shit!!

So how I spent my first week of mid term break is... simple.

Endless of sleep + endless of videos + gathering & meet up and lastly, procrastination in doing my story board. :D

I remembered the last time I procrastinate was during O levels period and that was like so long ago. Hahaha.

The most happy thing that happened during this break will probably be the gathering with old friends. SHELLY, thanks for coming back to visit us. It's been really long since we gather together and do some catch up especially when Shelly & Kala are overseas. The feeling of being reunion is great. It's like we were back together after being separated for so long.

Shelly, see you in another semester time. (:

Because of this mid term break, I got to meet up with Hweeyee too! The last time we met was like last year's november or something? We decided to pay $3 to see the Universal globe because we didn't see it before. Hahaha. We bought popcorns! They have very nice tins but they cost like a bomb. My junior just told me that after 7pm, the tickets are selling at $2 and you get to see how the inside of USS looked like. He saw me yesterday but didn't even come and say hello. Tsk tsk. Some kind of junior he is. Nevertheless, we took photos with the globe!

JJ's birthday gathering

Yesterday ABC celebrated his birthday and cake was niceeeeeeeeee. Hahahs.

Went to orchard to celebrate JJ's birthday too. He don't know what he want to eat and we just followed him walking up and down the orchard area and ended up at Paragon's Sushi Tei. My first time there and the Udon was yummy!! :D

After that, we went to Plaza Singapura to watch "The A-Team". Very nice, the visual effects and everything. Hahaha. & cabbed home after that. Nice Sunday spent. :D

Refreshed weekend

It's been so tiring the whole week that I couldn't stand it anymore and headed out of house. Had alot of good food yesterday and yes, spent all my money on food. :D

First stop was Auntie Anne's Caramel Almond Pretzel! It's been so long since I had it. Next we went to walk around Funan IT Mall and settled early dinner at Liang Court.

A bowl of Udon is a must.

After Udon, I was having sweet tooth craze this whole week so I bought ice cream! After that, headed to Kinokuniya to buy my pens like finally. Walked back to Central and bought some small donuts!

I am really suffering from sweet tooth. ):

So yea, went home feeling much better and ready to do my homework. :D

HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY!

Yay! I'm 18 years old now and I wan to thank everyone who have wished me through SMS, Facebook & MSN.

And thank you Cheekeong for the cake from Awfully Chocolate & present on 23 April.

So yesterday was my 18th and spent my day out with May Sister, Kasper, Qamariah & JJ!

Initial plan was to head down to Marina Barrage and have a small picnic there but due to the threatening weather, we dropped the plan when we reached Marina Bay. And decided to have our picnic outside the MRT Station while waiting for JJ and Qamariah.

We headed down to the Floating Platform and waited till 8pm for the awesome fireworks! :D Yea, cool right, watching fireworks on my birthday is the coolest thing that happened and best present from the Government so far. Because for the past few years, it's either I had my mid year examination or NAPFA test. Finally this year, the Government did the right thing.

After the fireworks, we had dinner at POPEYES and Qamariah treated us.

Last Day @ Work + Shaunee's Birthday + Ruiyi's Birthday + MAC OS Training

9th April was my last day of work. Had a good experience working there and great to meet great people like IRIS there. She's my best friend, a big sister to me over there. Love her alot and she will be the one I'm going to miss dearly. I didn't regret moving over to work beside her. :D And thank you for your farewell gift specially for me! :D

I gave my colleagues a smiley face cookie wishing and hoping that no matter what happens, they will look at the bright side and cheer up. (:

Headed over to JP after dinner to get present for my cousin's birthday. After that, my uncle treated us ice cream at Swensens. Had Lime Sherbet as one of the choices like always. (: After that, had a mini celebration at Shaunee's house with Thong Leong's ugly decorated cake.

Went to Ice Bar @ Snow City on Saturday for my cousin's birthday celebration. On the way there, we saw a fatal car accident. Anyway, the food was good and the cake was cute ttm and tasted great! We went to the balcony to enjoy the 5.3 degrees temperature. It was really shiok. After which, I met May Sister at JP and had Anderson ice cream and walking around looking for our stuffs. She came to my house after that and we had a good laughing session. Memorable day for the both of us.

I asked JJ to accompany me to Funan IT Mall on Sunday to get my things. Bought a mouse and screen protector for my baby lappie which I have yet to paste it. Had lunch at PastaMania and he kept snatching my pasta loh! Oh, I also packed my table and now it looks so cool. Can multi task.

Went to NP for MAC OS Training on Monday because the letter sent to me said that ATTENDANCE IS COMPULSORY! So, I went. I met these 2 girls from ICT on my way to LT 50 and sat with them throughout the training. I WASTED MY TIME GG FOR THE TRAINING BECAUSE THE PERSON TEACH THE BASIC ONLY. T.T

I talked to Uncle Low kay hwa for the entire training. Seriously very boring. I didn't even make friends with my own coursemates. How sad. I took bus to JVS to take my certificate and year book and at the same time, had my lunch there. (:

Walked home and I almost died under the hot scorching sun.

Took a nap and woke up by JJ's call. LOVE SONG THE MUSICAL IS SHOWING ON 18APRIL! Uncle Calvin was stunned when I told him. HEHEHE.

The weather is freaking hot yesterday & today. My house was like sauna and I couldn't stop fanning myself even with my fan working at the highest speed. And finally it rained heavily this evening! :D

Hopefully I can catch 'Kidnapper' with May Sister tomorrow. :D

Long weekends rocks

Hello! Finally I have time to do a proper post.

Anyway, I met up with May Sister yesterday for shopping after so long!

Had our favourite ice kachang, went shopping in body shop, takoyaki balls at ION Ochard, collected my applecare at Funan IT Mall and lastly, dinner at Yoshinoya. :D

And on our way back home, there's this guy who vomited inside the train. :/

Spent a great day with 2 great people. :D

Another awesome weekend

I felt that there's always something out there for me in the weekends of 2010. Or maybe it's only these few weekends that I really enjoyed. I can sense that I won't really enjoy my weekends after poly starts but I'm talking about NOW, so let me just enjoy the rest of my weekends before poly starts.

Yesterday, 12 March 2010, was pretty awesome. (:

I went to IT SHOW @ Suntec after work with Qamariah & Zech and met up with JJ after that. Had our dinner at Burger King and headed over to Carls Jr. at Marina Sq to find Uncle Calvin & Huimin. Talked and Uncle Calvin wanted to go clubbing but I was still underage. HAHAHA. So we ended up at Esplanade watching some performance and crapping. Then JJ asked Uncle Calvin if he watch Alice in Wonderland already not, and he said no. So we decided to watch it @ GV Marina. Before the movie start, we played arcade and I kenna bully by Uncle Calvin, thanks ah.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND 3D was awesome. The characters is cute to the max and I loved it. :D After movie, we couldn't decide where to go and it's still 'early' (actually it's 2.30am alrd) because we rarely meet up with Uncle Calvin. So we went back to Esplanade to talk again. Uncle Calvin & JJ were sharing their NS stories and reminiscence their FSV days back then. Told me lots of things to 'prepare' myself in FSV. Oh, and Uncle Calvin said he will bring me to Powerhouse after my birthday. (I went WTFFFFFFFF?!) Lols.

We decided to go off at 5am and Qamariah said she was hungry, so we went to Macdonald's to have breakfast. We continued talking and Uncle Calvin said he was scared that I will get bullied in FSV. Then I said, "You come visit me every week loh. HAHAHA".

Then he replied, "Can, I will go into the lecture theatre every week." And it will be like this.

Uncle Calvin: "Hi Sir."

*Walk towards me*

Uncle Calvin: "Got anybody bully you anot? Tell me, I help you settle. Have? Don't have ah, okay."

*Uncle Calvin turned and walk out of LT.*

Uncle Calvin: "Bye Sir."

So after breakfast, we went home separately and hope to meet up with them soon. :D

Oh, we took Polaroid that day and Uncle Calvin said that this is my Protective Talisman.

He said it's my protective talisman because if any lecturer give me problems or I get into any problems, I can use this to shoot the lecturer off. How nice. HAHAHA. :D

An awesome weekend to be remembered, definetely. :D
