I'm finally done with FSV year 2. It has been a fun, loving and torturing year for me. But nevertheless, I would say I enjoyed it to some extend. It's also through this period of time that I realised there are some people out there that I really can't work with or maybe my expectations for everyone in the group is too high.
So, I am officially out of NP, FMS for the next few months due to internship. I was so fed up when I know that I couldn't get into FYP but it's alright now because everything is so fucked up that I don't even want to be in it anymore. At least I got into the internship company that I want and I really wish that I can leave a good impression to them so that the chances of me going back there to work is higher. :)
Just came back from a gathering with my juniors and we mentioned that how kids like us are actually fortunate but we don't really know it until we lose what we have (does it make any sense?). And knowing that one of my friend quitted school because she finds that what she is studying now is not what she wanted in the future. And the fact that I've seen her struggling and working hard to get into her desired course previously... I really don't understand.. I don't understand how someone can give up on her goal and went to pursue another goal instead. But oh well, it's not my problem.
I can't wait for my shanghai trip. It will be my first trip oversea and I'm really really excited! :)

Why am I fighting so hard for?
I just had a very bad week.
In week 8, I had 3 pitches and 3 submissions. My individual pitch for drama production failed because I was really really sick that day. And lecturer let me go because I was looking so sick. Next, I had documentary pitch which went really well and I'm so happy about it. After that was producing presentation. I managed to get an interview done and I'm so proud of myself. HAHA
Anyway, I thought that after I've survived the hell week, I could at least enjoy a bit and look forward to holiday. However, I was wrong. On Friday, I was at the camera rental center renting out equipments for shoot the next day, I received a call from the course manager. He told me that I couldn't do FYP because my GPA is lower than those who opted for FYP and due to limited resources.
Yea, I cried in my front of my friend. I couldn't accept the fact that I have to go internship. Like hello, how hard is it to go into internship? I don't need the school to provide me with internship. I really want to do FYP. Why do you think I work so hard for? The amount of time I've spent on planning for shoot, looking for talents, getting all the logistic stuffs done before shoots, making sure everything is ready for shoot. Doesn't this show the efforts that I've put into in all the assignments that I've done?
Telling me my GPA is low is not going to work. I don't get how 3.0 is low and I can say that I've got experience from outside shoots that some might not have. What's the point of me working so hard when I can't even choose what I want to do in Year 3. This is plain stupid. By looking at GPA doesn't mean everything.
And cutting down the amount of people doing FYP due to limited resources is an excuse. A very very bad one. Look, how much money did you give us for our FYP and how fucking long did you guys get to reimburse us back the money? We have to fork out our own money for all the shoots. Did the school ever support us financially?
Yes, we're very ambitious. The equipments that we need for our shoots are what you think is unnecessary. But look, did we make you guys proud?
If I don't get into doing FYP for Year 3, I'M GOING TO HATE THE SCHOOL FOREVER.

3 months
Hi all. I'm back after 3 months of hiatus.
The first semester of Year 2 finally ended. I would really say that this semester is really really good and fun but tough? The things I've done for this semester cannot be compared to the previous two semester. I joined the The Guilty Ones musical 3 months ago, and now, I produced a music video for my assignment which I am really happy about it. Guess it's not only me, but my whole team really really like our final product a lot. I have an awesome team and without Kristen & Lincoln, I don't think I will meet the standard.
During these 3 months of hiatus, I did and learnt a lot of stuffs. I am not kidding. I have not seen myself working so hard for my future before. It is also the first time, in my entire life that I felt I've accomplished something, something that I am really proud of. And of course, without my group mates, friends and family, I am nobody.
My love and interest for filmmaking or rather, for this industry started ever since I helped out in my brother's IBP. I like the feeling of satisfaction and tiredness you get every time you finished a shoot. It might mean nothing to those audience out there who are watching your film, either criticizing or praising it, but we clearly knows that it's the hard work and effort given by the main crews and that every film has a story behinds it. We all have our own perspectives towards every film. We have our own interpretations to the story. But what is the real story behind every film?
Throughout the 3 semesters that I've been through, this music video assignment is my MOST satisfied project ever. And because of this music video assignment, I am more aware of what I really want to be in the future - Producer.
I am glad that I am in the team, it's like the team that I really want to work with for the rest of my FSV life, but I know it's kinda impossible. Producing a music video might sounds easy for you, but wait till you really sit down with your team and talk about scheduling, budget and logistics. However, I really like doing it.
We approached this up and coming local band, MONSTER CAT for this music video shoot. They are really really good (check them out). Met up with them and told them our concepts and they really gave us constructive comments and suggestions.
The pre-production for this music video shoot was quite hardcore. The wardrobe for talent, visuals, casting and budget. We only secured our talents a few days before our shoot, only got a van for transportation of equipments two days before shoot, the scheduling clashes with another group and I only managed to get my permit to shoot one day before the shoot itself.
It's a pity that we planned for everything but we didn't get someone to take behind-the-scenes photos for us. All of us were busy on set. ): Nevertheless, I really really want to thank all those we supported us in a way or another, especially Joanne, Jovi & Zann for the time and interest to help us for the three days of shoot and Amanda, for the Timbre pizzas on the first day of shoot and her dad for helping us to drive the van in the morning after shoot. Also thanks to my brother for the additional lights and projector.
I am really happy and satisfied for this production. Not trying to be proud but I every time I watched the end product, I never felt regret about the money I spent on it. It's all worth it. :)
Pre-Production:
Underwater is really by far my most favourite shoot of all. I really really love my team. :)
Oh, on another brighter note, I finally got an A for a photography assignment. My first A assignment over the past 3 semesters. ^^
Results is coming out in 2 days' time, I am really really scared because this semester is tough for me. I really don't know what word I will use for next semester.
In the mean time, I hope there's more shoot coming up. :)

End of another chapter
What is TGO? TGO is 'The Guilty Ones', a musical production by Stage 52.
I got to know of TGO because all my friends is involved in it and most of the conversations that they had were all about TGO. So one day, during one of their conversations, Mel was talking about how difficult it is to look for costumes for the casts and dancer within the limit budget. Without thinking, I asked Mel if she needs an assistant, because I don't mind doing wardrobe stuffs.
So, during the pre-production of TGO, I was running around between 2 departments. Helping Kristen for Art Department and Mel for Wardrobe. I really like how all the sets and designs turns out. Working with Kristen has got to be the best experience I gained from TGO. From building the revolving stages, tables and chair from scratch to the designing of signboards and everything. She managed to get everything done within the limited budget.

2 more weeks of hell
Last week was hell. TOTAL hell for me.
3 freaking tests and 1 submission. But I managed to get through it.
This decision that I've made since I was secondary 4, is somehow making me question myself. There were times when I really asked myself this question, "Why the fuck did I join this course?".
GSS is here! I shall get all the things I wanna get during the 2 weeks break. Looking forward to shoot Scene Adaptation too, because we chose to do my favourite scene in Freedom Writers. (:

This decision that I've made since I was secondary 4, is somehow making me question myself. There were times when I really asked myself this question, "Why the fuck did I join this course?".
First, it was the passion that I have for working for this industry as someone behind the camera.
Second, the fun and experience is something no other courses can provide.
Third, pride for local production.
However, after coming into this course, my passion for filmmaking decreases. One of the reason is probably the workload given by the school. Do you know how many thousands and millions of cells were killed over 1 project? How many hours did we sleep in a WEEK? And getting criticized and feeling demoralized? Seriously, someone with a weak heart, personality should never join fms. It will only kill you.
Nevertheless, I still managed to get the fun and experience that I am looking forward to. It is really something that no other courses in poly can provide you. The connection and contacts you get when you go for different shoots is very important. And to me, I think Singaporeans should support local productions because if we do not support our own people, who will?
Came across this link today.
I actually agreed to what was written though I mentioned that Singaporeans should support the local productions. However, sometimes some people will just bully the newbies with underpaid jobs and stuffs like this. Why is this happening in the industry? Something which I don't understand.
- - - - - -
I think fsv almost killed me. For someone who is only late for thrice in Secondary school, getting 5 absence marked across your attendance from Week 2 to Week 6 is no joke. Which means to say, I was late once for class each week. This is very bad. And worst, I might get debarred from my Studio Production module if I am late again the next time.
Don't asked me what happened to me, because all I will say is fsv screwed up my life and sleeping hours. This is really very bad. ):
I watched Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist yesterday. I like this quote below:
"I used to think that when I got older, the world would make so much more sense. But you know what? The older I get, the more confusing it is to me. The more complicated it is. Harder. You’d think we’d be getting better at it. But there’s just more and more chaos. The pieces - they’re everywhere. And nobody knows what to do about it. I find myself grasping, Nick. You know that feeling? That feeling when you just want the right thing to fall into the right place, not only because it’s right, but because it will mean that such a thing is still possible? I want to believe in that.” - (Nick & Norah's Infinte Playlist, directed by Peter Sollet, 2008)- - - - - -

It ends tonight
Today marks the last day of my 2 months semester break.
No more freelance job, sleeping at 3am and waking up at 1pm, slacking around at home facing my laptop from the time I wake up till the time I sleep and many more. Seriously, though this break isn't as fulfilling and interesting as the previous one but I get to know more people from the industry by working on different tvc.
I love the experience and satisfaction I got everytime the shoot ends. Like the recent tvc that I did, the director, Desmond, is a very nice and funny person which makes me feel comfortable working for the shoot. I love my job, though sometimes it can be very frustrating and irritating when the instructions given by the producer/production manager.
Anyway, it's time to get ready for another torturous semester ahead. I predict that I will really really look like a vampire towards the end of the semester. 17 weeks faster pass so that I can be a freelance again and go on shoots! 9am lecture later on. Not sure if my eyes will be closed or opened. Ciao~

Lucky
You know, at times I feel that I am really lucky. Not in terms of money, but other things.
Like last year, my first job after I entered poly was working for a feature film, as a Wardrobe assistant. It's like a once in a life time opportunity for me, to work for a feature film. And it is also the first time I work in the media industry.
For this year, during my semester break, I thought that I couldn't find a production job. But 2 days after my holiday started, my friend called me and asked if I am interested to work for a TVC. I agreed immediately because I don't want to rot my life away at home. It was only on the 2nd day that I realized what TVC I was involved. I was so happy! It's a really big shot TVC. There's not only 100 crew, there were also dolly, steadicam, crane and also helicopter shooting all at one go! Freaking awesome.
It was an eye opener to me and I love the experience. Looking forward to more opportunities coming in while I continue to rot my life away at home right now.

Staying up late again.
Hi hi. Good morning by the way!
Guess what I am doing at this freaking hour now?
Yea, doing my work once again. Was actually planning to just leave this shit at where it was and go to sleep. Because the other class who had Writcom today told us that those we did not do research on the final assignment will be kicked out of the class. And so, I wanted to be one of those who will get kicked out for class later on because I don't know how to do the final assignment and I don't know what to write either.
The final assignment is to write a proposal asking for funding for a film production and need to have 13 paragraphs, with both secondary and primary supports. Like come on, if we need money for film production, we need the money. Why is there a need for us to explain so much on why we need the money when it is understood that we need the money to shoot? And if I am the one approving the funding, I wouldn't want to read a 13 paragraphs long of proposal, with a min. of 1.5k to 2k of words. I meant, it is not necessary! Why do they have to make our lives so difficult?
So now, I have only come out with my thesis statement and nothing else. I don't know what else to write and I am wondering, where the hell am I during Writcom lectures and tutorials? So, the question now is.. To get kicked out of class later on or produce some research and work for consultation later? Hmm...

Busy period
You know, school is getting more and more boring especially when you are attending lectures and tutorials of the modules that you had no interest? It's like a waste of time.
I finally decided to cut my hair after letting it grow for a year, after all the crazy working schedules.
And actually I am here typing this for a simple reason - having a writer block right now. I love to write when I was in both pri and sec schools. However, when I stepped into fsv, I realized that my writings are bad, I couldn't bring out the characters' emotion, actions and my dialogues are boring. It's a challenge given to me whenever I need to write.
Today's storytelling lesson, I actually learnt something important which I believed that it will help me through this writer block - change of perspective. For my current storytelling assignment, which is to write a story, I got a C. Not surprised by this result because I did it the night before submission till the early morning, catching only 2 freaking hours of sleep before I rushed to school. Yea, that's the kind of life I am leading right now, and it only happens on submission days. Kind of upset with myself for my poor time management but I realized I could only write/work/come out with ideas when the submission day is nearing. Weird.
Back to topic.
I wrote my whole story from the main character's point of view. I just wrote whatever came to my mind because I knew I was rushing for time and ideas doesn't come to me easily. It was also at that moment, I realized how different it is compared to writing a composition during pri and sec schools. Everything was different. The writing style, words used, content, theme, etc. I really like reading my friend's story/script. The way the express the characters' thoughts/expression/action is way better than mine. The specific words that they used, the feeling.. I am impressed and hopes to be like them.
Alright, photo of the day....

| After 1 year. |
Okay back to work now. Remember, change of perspective is very useful. And crazy schedules up ahead. Having shoots on the third and fourth day of cny, a 1.5 - 2k words of proposal after cny break, final project for computer graphics shoot and a full script for storytelling before school terms end. Seriously, FMS lived up to it's name - Forever Missing Sleep.

Goodbye 2010
Submitted my loc prod assignment today with a heavy heart. I know my video, script, editing and everything is not the best but I did my best. Being a beginner in directing, writing, producing and editing, I have lots to learn and a long way to go. I envy my friend's editing and hope to be like them, however, everything takes time. Xy, Jiayou! Work hard and one day, you will get what you wished for. Hang in there and move on. (:
Gonna do a review of 2010 tomorrow like last yr's. Think it's kinda fun recalling.
Goodbye 2010, thanks for this fruitful year.

LOST
Suddenly, I don't know what I am doing with my life. Being stuck in a situation and can't seems to find a way out.
This feeling really sucks. Tell me, what can I write for my script.

FED UP
I am very pissed off with my mum because of JOB & MONEY.
She asked me if I am working tomorrow and I said no because I need to rest. & she started saying why I'm always at home and not working, why am I always looking for jobs only after my holiday started and why I don't have plans for workings the week before holiday.
HELLOOOOOO~ What is her problem?
I work for this production as intern because I felt that it's a good opportunity for me to learn and get to know more people as well as, how things were done in the wardrobe department. I am happy there although I am complaining about how tired I am everyday. It is so much better than staying at home doing nothing okay!
When I stay at home, you said that I did nothing and only faced my lappie the whole day. When I work for this production, which I really enjoy doing, you said that I do not have plans for working and finding job. Then when I said I am not working the next day, you thought that my job is not regular. The truth is I don't wan to tire myself everyday doing the same things. I got to set my own schedule so why can't I rest on days which I want to? Even though, I am in need for cash now because my bank is dying soon, I need to rest also what. & furthermore, I will be paid for working as an intern, although I do not know how much I will be paid but what I've gained is the experience, opportunity and of course some money! So it's not a useless and wasting time job okay.
& when I talked to you nicely, you said you got no mood to talk to me because of this job & money issue. wth seriously. What you want me to do then?
Okay, feeling much better now. Move on with life~

fucked up mood
Feeling very angtsy and everything because there's some clever ass out there who think that editing is easy when you have to do fucking loads of photoshop-ing at the same time. & the best thing was, some clever ass' tasks were like damn easy because that clever ass just find talents and arrange them for shoot and recording. So easy right! wtf. _l_

Another awesome weekend
I felt that there's always something out there for me in the weekends of 2010. Or maybe it's only these few weekends that I really enjoyed. I can sense that I won't really enjoy my weekends after poly starts but I'm talking about NOW, so let me just enjoy the rest of my weekends before poly starts.
Yesterday, 12 March 2010, was pretty awesome. (:
I went to IT SHOW @ Suntec after work with Qamariah & Zech and met up with JJ after that. Had our dinner at Burger King and headed over to Carls Jr. at Marina Sq to find Uncle Calvin & Huimin. Talked and Uncle Calvin wanted to go clubbing but I was still underage. HAHAHA. So we ended up at Esplanade watching some performance and crapping. Then JJ asked Uncle Calvin if he watch Alice in Wonderland already not, and he said no. So we decided to watch it @ GV Marina. Before the movie start, we played arcade and I kenna bully by Uncle Calvin, thanks ah.
ALICE IN WONDERLAND 3D was awesome. The characters is cute to the max and I loved it. :D After movie, we couldn't decide where to go and it's still 'early' (actually it's 2.30am alrd) because we rarely meet up with Uncle Calvin. So we went back to Esplanade to talk again. Uncle Calvin & JJ were sharing their NS stories and reminiscence their FSV days back then. Told me lots of things to 'prepare' myself in FSV. Oh, and Uncle Calvin said he will bring me to Powerhouse after my birthday. (I went WTFFFFFFFF?!) Lols.
We decided to go off at 5am and Qamariah said she was hungry, so we went to Macdonald's to have breakfast. We continued talking and Uncle Calvin said he was scared that I will get bullied in FSV. Then I said, "You come visit me every week loh. HAHAHA".
Then he replied, "Can, I will go into the lecture theatre every week." And it will be like this.
Uncle Calvin: "Hi Sir."
*Walk towards me*
Uncle Calvin: "Got anybody bully you anot? Tell me, I help you settle. Have? Don't have ah, okay."
*Uncle Calvin turned and walk out of LT.*
Uncle Calvin: "Bye Sir."
LOL. My guardian in FSV.
So after breakfast, we went home separately and hope to meet up with them soon. :D
Today I went to buy my new baby.
(The Macbook Pro behind me belongs to JJ, not mine.)
Oh, we took Polaroid that day and Uncle Calvin said that this is my Protective Talisman.
He said it's my protective talisman because if any lecturer give me problems or I get into any problems, I can use this to shoot the lecturer off. How nice. HAHAHA. :D
An awesome weekend to be remembered, definetely. :D

Best interview

Yesterday, I went for my JPSAE interview at NP.
It's damn funny throughout the whole interview.
& I found my way to the library without much difficulties. (:
Chatted with Xiuqi auntie via SMS while waiting for my turn.
I was so nervous and tensed up. :\
I don't know how to calm myself down.
& I asked XQ auntie how to intro myself, and this is what she replied.
"Hello, I'm JJ's sis." -.-
So eventually, it's my turn.
Took a very deep breathe and opened the door.
Indeed, FSV lecturers were super friendly, thru' their tone and facial expression.
The two interviewers were Leonard (FSV Course Manager) & Chinboo (AudioVisual Lecturer).
So here's how my interview goes (some parts are cut away):
Leonard & Chinboo: HI! Good Morning! Take a seat please.
XY: Hello, good morning. I'm Xinying.
Leonard: Looked at the file in front of him, and asked, 'You acted in Love Song directed by Calvin Choo and was a PA too?'
XY: Yes, I did that in 2008 while they were filming Love Song, their IBP.
Leonard: OMG! You acted for Calvin that crazy guy! So how you find their production?
XY: Well, it's pretty excellent I would say. The way they planned their schedule, and everything! Professionals at work. It's a good experience working with them.
Chinboo: That's good.
______
Leonard: I was amazed by your portfolio. Simple, organised and neat.
XY: *shocked* heh heh, thank you.
Chinboo: Woah, there's a disc. Does it contain anything? Let's check it out.
LEONARD LAUGHED SUPER BADLY AT THE VIDEO WHICH I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY.
Leonard: I like your video. Seriously. What is your role in this video?
XY: I was appointed as one of the camera person and editor.
Leonard: So how you find being the camera person and editor?
XY: Not too bad and not too good. Not too bad because it's my first time being a crew myself and had fun doing the things that I like! Not too good because it's tiring and you need to know clearly what you want to video down and how. But overall, it's a great experience to me.
Chinboo: Some of the scenes were well taken, not a bad piece of work. So other than this video, do you have anything else you did which is related to FSV?
Leonard: What is this? And you looked like a magician! Took this out suddenly!
XY: It's my secret weapon, so must take out suddenly and amaze you, you see! Alright, this is a proj whereby we were asked to do, to create a self awareness to ourselves on which path are we heading to after O levels in 2008, when I was still a Secondary 4 student. And initially I did a 'Director' one instead of 'Film Editor'. But it was not returned to me, so I thought of doing it again.
Leonard: Amazing! You mean you already know about FSV in 2008, and made up your mind that FSV is where you're heading to?
XY: Yes.
Leonard: So how did you get to know about this course, FSV?
XY: Actually my brother was a graduate from FSV. I was somehow inspired by him and his friends, like how they express themselves, their passion in their work. Besides this, I was also curious about how media works and FSV is a course which is so different from other courses whereby you get to do alot of hands-on stuffs. And plus, I am those who can die under books. :D
Leonard: Who is your brother? *wondering*
XY: Lee Jun Jie.
Chinboo: turns to Leonard and said, "sounds familiar"
Leonard: Junjie... *Shocked and eyes opened widely* (Calvin said he could imagine his facial expression when I told him.) OH! You meant JJ?!?!
XY: Yeap. Hahaha.
Leonard: JJ the other crazy guy was your brother? You are JJ's sister? OMG! This is getting more and more interesting. We're getting more siblings joining FSV. How great.
Chinboo laughs.
*Interview was paused, talked about my brother and crapped.*
Leonard: So do you have anymore secret weapon to show us?
XY: HAHAHA. no more. I only prepared 1.
Chinboo: Cool, come, tell us your X-factor.
XY: blahblahblah~.
*Throughout the whole interview, I was still very nervous and tensed up to the extend that my voice was shaky and I was shivering. My eyes were watery ttm and I realised my tears rolled down suddenly, despite how funny both lecturers are.*
Leonard: Can I ask you something?
XY: Yes
Leonard: Why are you crying?!
XY: Hahahs, I was nervous and tensed up and I have watery and tired eyes today! Not crying okayyyyyyyyyy.
Chinboo: Oh, you need to be CONFIDENCE! Next time if you work in this industry, you cannot show people your fear! You need to face everyone with confidence. (:
XY: Yea, thank you.
Leonard: So how eager you want to join FSV? Ranging from 1 to 10.
XY: 9.
Leonard: What's stopping you in saying 10?
XY: My results :D
Both of them stared at my results.
Leonard: Pretty good what. It's exactly what I scored in my time.
XY: Hey, different generation hor. Don't compare.
Leonard: Good.
Chinboo: So do you have anything you want to know more about FSV?
Leonard: Aiyah, if you have anything, can ask JJ. He will answer all your qns. HAHAHA.
XY: True. :D
The last sentence Leonard said to me was this:
"I see a bright future in both JJ and you in the media industry. Work hard."
I wanted to scream out loud but managed to control my feelings. :D

This is basically what my interview was about.
Really interesting people.
Well, I didn't regretted saying 'YES' to Mr Mao when he said he needed help in making a video for competition that time. It gave me a brand new experience, being a crew myself.
The best thing was, I didn't regretted being an AVA Club member. :D
5 more days to 27th January. (:

Farewell
O levels over! O levels result release over! What's next?

Had lunch cum dinner with her after getting results too!

Posting results. -.-
I hope my JAE & JPSAE will be successful. HEHE :D
11 January 2010, I experienced both happiness and sadness.
Elated because of my results, though it's not up to my expectations but I am satisfied with it. Sad, because it's the last time I am going to see two of my close friends. Both of them are going oversea to pursue further education.
I believed it's these moments that we will put down all unhappiness between you and the person willingly and wishes them all the best. There's no point bearing all the grudges anymore, why not we just pretend that no such things had happened before and admit that you've grown and by bearing those grudges, it's childish.
Not all friendship are said to be last. It depends who's the other party. If the other party can give up the friendship of years because of good reason, I will gladly accept it. But if the other party gave up the friendship of years because of girlf/boyf, then I am sorry to say, you're not the type of friend I am looking for. So what if the friendship of you and the other party were long? Does it matter now?
Everyone wears a mask to cover their true self, some wears more than a mask.
What's the point? In the end, your true self will still be revealed.
In conclusion, not everyone are worth being friends with.
Open your eyes wide enough to see who is in front of you before you make friends with.

In the midst of preparing my portfolio now. But, I got no time to go back to school to ask for letter of recommendation and my testimonials. I need an A3 paper from Art friend by today or tomorrow, because I could only get it there. What should I do about this?
Had a great time with May Sister ytd. We actually walked from Bugis to Bras Basah to get my things. After that, back to Bugis and walked to Golden Mile hawker center for dinner. Then from Golden Mile, we walked back to Bugis again. After that, we walked to Clarke Quay from Bugis.
Exchanged present with May Sister that day. HEHE, thanks for your Mickey Mouse tee. :D

Had lunch cum dinner with her after getting results too!

BYEBYE! :D
Back to cleaning room and preparing my portfolio.
Oh yeah, anyone who wants O levels stuff, feel free to let me know! (except for science) :)
Wednesday, December 30, 2009
goodbye & hello.
2009 have been a great year despite all the problems I faced.
January

I was very happy-go-lucky back then. Everything still belonged to me at that point of time. Contented with my O level MT result and sighed at my Emaths. But well, early CNY, which was not that bad. I was H-A-P-P-Y, real happy (about other stuffs). Little did I know that these happiness didn't last.
February
Homework, school work, tuition and endless class tests. Friendships started to fall apart, everything wasn't what it supposed to be. Spent my valentine day at home playing Wii with JJ. Hahahs. Had reunion dinner with Love Song the Musical crews on the very last day of CNY.
March
Started to hate you for ignoring me. (Yes, tyvm.) Had MYOB course which took away my whole March Holidays. Bought the first CD in my life. Heh heh. Had the last Meet-The-Parent session of the year.April

Mock exams started. Life changed. New friendships born. Started to write quotes in my schedule to encourage myself. Birthday falls on the first day of MYE (wtf.). Started to mug at library everyday because my house was too noisy due to the shoutings and naggings but stopped a week later because I'm too tired for that. Enjoyed 30 April 2009 very much.
May

Endless mugging but somehow only 30% of what I've studied gets into my brain (my MYE results was the evidence). Watched 2 movies that month, broke like shit. LOL! 2nd CD bought.
June

Thought that MT O level paper was pretty fine (screwed them up in the end). Spent my first two weeks helping out in DX's short film. Very fun~! :D Surprise birthday celebration for JJ before he go NS. Had alot of fun during June holidays and yeah, study plans gone. (:
July

Start of night classes and endless remedial after school. Oh, it's also the start of my studying plans every weekend at mac with May sister. Our rapport and friendship grew stronger and kept encouraging one another to study hard. Thanks sister!
August
Flooded my facebook photo albums with class photos. 5n1's getting more united at that point of time. Went for NDP 09 with JJ. Felt that Mrs Bala is a nice teacher after so long. HAHAHA!
Prelims started. My friendship with someone was somehow 'patched' back. However, there's a big gap between us no matter how close we are. The feeling was totally weird. It didn't last long so, yeah. (: Flooded facebook photo album with Teachers' Day photographs. The last occasion where the whole class unite and participate well.
September

Went to look for teachers after school whenever I'm free. & again, Mrs Gan is a very good teacher too! Endless tuition and study as much as I can.
October
Nightmares came, problems surfaced. Friendships were on a rocky stage. I wasn't very happy, and even find it difficult to study at times. I was upset with myself for late preparation for O levels. Last day of school on 09 oct.
November
Screwed up combined humanities papers. Wanted to cry over my science papers. But pointless. I have to blame myself for not preparing well enough to enter the examination hall. ):
Had class chalet and enjoyed myself with my classmates. Although some things made me flared up, but I remained calm. Who cares about people who push the blames to others and felt that they deserved the credits? Watched a wonderful drama, Roseate-Love, and am loving it. :D
December

Finally got my first job - Bookfest 09. Well, I didn't regret taking up this job, seriously. Despite the long working hours (standing somemore), long journey trips, fuck up managements and all, IT WAS FUN! :D If I didn't take up this job, I would not have met Kasper. I would not have met Winny, Kaung, Jasmine, Felicia and the rest. I would not have the chance to work with different types of people everyday! The days would not have passed so fast. If I didn't take up this job, I would not be able to get an admin job so fast. Haha. Although the pay wasn't high, but yeah, enjoy working as what you want! :D Oh, and the sad thing is I spent my Christmas and last day of 2009 at home, countdown with my Pooh Bear!
It has been an eye-opener for me this year, with so many obstacles coming my way.
2009, thank you.
To those who came and left in my life, thank you.
To those who created special memories in my life, thank you.
To those whom I've worked with, thank you.
To my group of girlfriends, thank you.
To Juying sister, thank you.
Goodbye 2009! It's been great year. (:
Welcome 2010, I believed it'll be better.
P.S: it's good to have a schedule, to record down everything that happened. (:
