I'm finally done with FSV year 2. It has been a fun, loving and torturing year for me. But nevertheless, I would say I enjoyed it to some extend. It's also through this period of time that I realised there are some people out there that I really can't work with or maybe my expectations for everyone in the group is too high.

So, I am officially out of NP, FMS for the next few months due to internship. I was so fed up when I know that I couldn't get into FYP but it's alright now because everything is so fucked up that I don't even want to be in it anymore. At least I got into the internship company that I want and I really wish that I can leave a good impression to them so that the chances of me going back there to work is higher. :)

Just came back from a gathering with my juniors and we mentioned that how kids like us are actually fortunate but we don't really know it until we lose what we have (does it make any sense?). And knowing that one of my friend quitted school because she finds that what she is studying now is not what she wanted in the future. And the fact that I've seen her struggling and working hard to get into her desired course previously... I really don't understand.. I don't understand how someone can give up on her goal and went to pursue another goal instead. But oh well, it's not my problem.

I can't wait for my shanghai trip. It will be my first trip oversea and I'm really really excited! :)

Why am I fighting so hard for?

I just had a very bad week.

In week 8, I had 3 pitches and 3 submissions. My individual pitch for drama production failed because I was really really sick that day. And lecturer let me go because I was looking so sick. Next, I had documentary pitch which went really well and I'm so happy about it. After that was producing presentation. I managed to get an interview done and I'm so proud of myself. HAHA

Anyway, I thought that after I've survived the hell week, I could at least enjoy a bit and look forward to holiday. However, I was wrong. On Friday, I was at the camera rental center renting out equipments for shoot the next day, I received a call from the course manager. He told me that I couldn't do FYP because my GPA is lower than those who opted for FYP and due to limited resources.

Yea, I cried in my front of my friend. I couldn't accept the fact that I have to go internship. Like hello, how hard is it to go into internship? I don't need the school to provide me with internship. I really want to do FYP. Why do you think I work so hard for? The amount of time I've spent on planning for shoot, looking for talents, getting all the logistic stuffs done before shoots, making sure everything is ready for shoot. Doesn't this show the efforts that I've put into in all the assignments that I've done?

Telling me my GPA is low is not going to work. I don't get how 3.0 is low and I can say that I've got experience from outside shoots that some might not have. What's the point of me working so hard when I can't even choose what I want to do in Year 3. This is plain stupid. By looking at GPA doesn't mean everything.

And cutting down the amount of people doing FYP due to limited resources is an excuse. A very very bad one. Look, how much money did you give us for our FYP and how fucking long did you guys get to reimburse us back the money? We have to fork out our own money for all the shoots. Did the school ever support us financially?

Yes, we're very ambitious. The equipments that we need for our shoots are what you think is unnecessary. But look, did we make you guys proud?

If I don't get into doing FYP for Year 3, I'M GOING TO HATE THE SCHOOL FOREVER.

Happy

Something that made my day..

Was talking to my lecturer about the copyrights for our videos and he mentioned that he sent my group's music video to competition. I feel so happy and hope that the results/comments will be good. :)

3 months

Hi all. I'm back after 3 months of hiatus.

The first semester of Year 2 finally ended. I would really say that this semester is really really good and fun but tough? The things I've done for this semester cannot be compared to the previous two semester. I joined the The Guilty Ones musical 3 months ago, and now, I produced a music video for my assignment which I am really happy about it. Guess it's not only me, but my whole team really really like our final product a lot. I have an awesome team and without Kristen & Lincoln, I don't think I will meet the standard.

During these 3 months of hiatus, I did and learnt a lot of stuffs. I am not kidding. I have not seen myself working so hard for my future before. It is also the first time, in my entire life that I felt I've accomplished something, something that I am really proud of. And of course, without my group mates, friends and family, I am nobody.

My love and interest for filmmaking or rather, for this industry started ever since I helped out in my brother's IBP. I like the feeling of satisfaction and tiredness you get every time you finished a shoot. It might mean nothing to those audience out there who are watching your film, either criticizing or praising it, but we clearly knows that it's the hard work and effort given by the main crews and that every film has a story behinds it. We all have our own perspectives towards every film. We have our own interpretations to the story. But what is the real story behind every film?

Throughout the 3 semesters that I've been through, this music video assignment is my MOST satisfied project ever. And because of this music video assignment, I am more aware of what I really want to be in the future - Producer.

I am glad that I am in the team, it's like the team that I really want to work with for the rest of my FSV life, but I know it's kinda impossible. Producing a music video might sounds easy for you, but wait till you really sit down with your team and talk about scheduling, budget and logistics. However, I really like doing it.

We approached this up and coming local band, MONSTER CAT for this music video shoot. They are really really good (check them out). Met up with them and told them our concepts and they really gave us constructive comments and suggestions.

The pre-production for this music video shoot was quite hardcore. The wardrobe for talent, visuals, casting and budget. We only secured our talents a few days before our shoot, only got a van for transportation of equipments two days before shoot, the scheduling clashes with another group and I only managed to get my permit to shoot one day before the shoot itself.

It's a pity that we planned for everything but we didn't get someone to take behind-the-scenes photos for us. All of us were busy on set. ): Nevertheless, I really really want to thank all those we supported us in a way or another, especially Joanne, Jovi & Zann for the time and interest to help us for the three days of shoot and Amanda, for the Timbre pizzas on the first day of shoot and her dad for helping us to drive the van in the morning after shoot. Also thanks to my brother for the additional lights and projector.

I am really happy and satisfied for this production. Not trying to be proud but I every time I watched the end product, I never felt regret about the money I spent on it. It's all worth it. :)

Underwater is really by far my most favourite shoot of all. I really really love my team. :)

Oh, on another brighter note, I finally got an A for a photography assignment. My first A assignment over the past 3 semesters. ^^

Results is coming out in 2 days' time, I am really really scared because this semester is tough for me. I really don't know what word I will use for next semester.

In the mean time, I hope there's more shoot coming up. :)

End of another chapter

TGO.

What is TGO? TGO is 'The Guilty Ones', a musical production by Stage 52.

I got to know of TGO because all my friends is involved in it and most of the conversations that they had were all about TGO. So one day, during one of their conversations, Mel was talking about how difficult it is to look for costumes for the casts and dancer within the limit budget. Without thinking, I asked Mel if she needs an assistant, because I don't mind doing wardrobe stuffs.

So, during the pre-production of TGO, I was running around between 2 departments. Helping Kristen for Art Department and Mel for Wardrobe. I really like how all the sets and designs turns out. Working with Kristen has got to be the best experience I gained from TGO. From building the revolving stages, tables and chair from scratch to the designing of signboards and everything. She managed to get everything done within the limited budget.

Drawing of the cats' eyes
The very nice and glittering signboard that I love a lot.
Glittering lightbulbs that was hung on the scenery bars on the stage!
Welcome to THE BLACK CAT
Look at the 'bar shelf' at the back!

Awesome set
Awesome set with angst lighting
They actually built a partition on the revolving stage, so that it can be turned and one side of the partition is the black cat's eyes while the other one is a stage with red curtains.

You don't want to know how much these chairs and tables cost us

LOL this was during the Curtain Call on the 2nd night. My first curtain call.
Blk 73, The Music Box backstage had gradually became my 2nd home for the past 1 week. All the people who had worked hard for this production, a big THANK YOU to you. Thanks for making TGO a successful musical. And probably the most meaningful production in my FSV life. (:

Check out the behind the scenes videos of TGO at stage52 facebook page.

2 more weeks of hell

Last week was hell. TOTAL hell for me.
3 freaking tests and 1 submission. But I managed to get through it.

This decision that I've made since I was secondary 4, is somehow making me question myself. There were times when I really asked myself this question, "Why the fuck did I join this course?".

First, it was the passion that I have for working for this industry as someone behind the camera.

Second, the fun and experience is something no other courses can provide.

Third, pride for local production.

However, after coming into this course, my passion for filmmaking decreases. One of the reason is probably the workload given by the school. Do you know how many thousands and millions of cells were killed over 1 project? How many hours did we sleep in a WEEK? And getting criticized and feeling demoralized? Seriously, someone with a weak heart, personality should never join fms. It will only kill you.

Nevertheless, I still managed to get the fun and experience that I am looking forward to. It is really something that no other courses in poly can provide you. The connection and contacts you get when you go for different shoots is very important. And to me, I think Singaporeans should support local productions because if we do not support our own people, who will?

Came across this link today.

I actually agreed to what was written though I mentioned that Singaporeans should support the local productions. However, sometimes some people will just bully the newbies with underpaid jobs and stuffs like this. Why is this happening in the industry? Something which I don't understand.

- - - - - -

I think fsv almost killed me. For someone who is only late for thrice in Secondary school, getting 5 absence marked across your attendance from Week 2 to Week 6 is no joke. Which means to say, I was late once for class each week. This is very bad. And worst, I might get debarred from my Studio Production module if I am late again the next time.

Don't asked me what happened to me, because all I will say is fsv screwed up my life and sleeping hours. This is really very bad. ):

I watched Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist yesterday. I like this quote below:
"I used to think that when I got older, the world would make so much more sense. But you know what? The older I get, the more confusing it is to me. The more complicated it is. Harder. You’d think we’d be getting better at it. But there’s just more and more chaos. The pieces - they’re everywhere. And nobody knows what to do about it. I find myself grasping, Nick. You know that feeling? That feeling when you just want the right thing to fall into the right place, not only because it’s right, but because it will mean that such a thing is still possible? I want to believe in that.”  - (Nick & Norah's Infinte Playlist, directed by Peter Sollet, 2008)

GSS is here! I shall get all the things I wanna get during the 2 weeks break. Looking forward to shoot Scene Adaptation too, because we chose to do my favourite scene in Freedom Writers. (:

It ends tonight

Today marks the last day of my 2 months semester break.

No more freelance job, sleeping at 3am and waking up at 1pm, slacking around at home facing my laptop from the time I wake up till the time I sleep and many more. Seriously, though this break isn't as fulfilling and interesting as the previous one but I get to know more people from the industry by working on different tvc.

I love the experience and satisfaction I got everytime the shoot ends. Like the recent tvc that I did, the director, Desmond, is a very nice and funny person which makes me feel comfortable working for the shoot. I love my job, though sometimes it can be very frustrating and irritating when the instructions given by the producer/production manager.

Anyway, it's time to get ready for another torturous semester ahead. I predict that I will really really look like a vampire towards the end of the semester. 17 weeks faster pass so that I can be a freelance again and go on shoots! 9am lecture later on. Not sure if my eyes will be closed or opened. Ciao~

Another chapter closed

YAY!!! IT'S THE HOLIDAYSSSSSSSSS!

Actually my holiday started a week ago but because we still have our final project submission on 25 Feb. So on 25 Feb, 5PM, our semester break is here like finally! It has been a very tough semester but all of us managed to pull through and survived.

25 Feb also marks the end of my Year 1 in FSV. You know how fast time flies when you enter poly? It's like looking back, I just got my O level results and got enrolled to FSV. And now, I've completed my first year in poly. The pacing is so fast that at times, I couldn't breathe. There were a lot of down moments, where our works were not appreciated and being criticized but that's how we learn. There were a lot of crazy moments, where we crash classes with the other class and late night gossip sessions at Al Azhar. There were also moments when we just feel like giving up and have the 'I DON'T GIVE A FUCK' attitude but the people around us gives us the strength and support we need. Not forgetting that there were also moments when all of us are just so stressed and tired for shoots but the end product always puts a smile on our faces, knowing that our hard work and sleepless nights are all worth it.

I've learnt a lot throughout this one year in FSV. I really love and treasure all my FSV ah nehs.

To WAVES: I really really thank god that we're working good together. Despite all the angst moments, we still made it. Shooting at Wavehouse Sentosa, ninja shoot at supermarket and not forgetting the late night editings, we've made it. 'Whispering Waves' is nothing without you guys. Thank you ah nehs. <3

And the last thing I am going to say is....

I AM GOING TO BANGKOK WITH MY AH NEHS! :D
& I AM GOING TO SEE KALA TOO!

Staying up late again.

Hi hi. Good morning by the way!

Guess what I am doing at this freaking hour now?

Yea, doing my work once again. Was actually planning to just leave this shit at where it was and go to sleep. Because the other class who had Writcom today told us that those we did not do research on the final assignment will be kicked out of the class. And so, I wanted to be one of those who will get kicked out for class later on because I don't know how to do the final assignment and I don't know what to write either.

The final assignment is to write a proposal asking for funding for a film production and need to have 13 paragraphs, with both secondary and primary supports. Like come on, if we need money for film production, we need the money. Why is there a need for us to explain so much on why we need the money when it is understood that we need the money to shoot? And if I am the one approving the funding, I wouldn't want to read a 13 paragraphs long of proposal, with a min. of 1.5k to 2k of words. I meant, it is not necessary! Why do they have to make our lives so difficult?

So now, I have only come out with my thesis statement and nothing else. I don't know what else to write and I am wondering, where the hell am I during Writcom lectures and tutorials? So, the question now is.. To get kicked out of class later on or produce some research and work for consultation later? Hmm...

Busy period

You know, school is getting more and more boring especially when you are attending lectures and tutorials of the modules that you had no interest? It's like a waste of time.

And actually I am here typing this for a simple reason - having a writer block right now. I love to write when I was in both pri and sec schools. However, when I stepped into fsv, I realized that my writings are bad, I couldn't bring out the characters' emotion, actions and my dialogues are boring. It's a challenge given to me whenever I need to write.

Today's storytelling lesson, I actually learnt something important which I believed that it will help me through this writer block - change of perspective. For my current storytelling assignment, which is to write a story, I got a C. Not surprised by this result because I did it the night before submission till the early morning, catching only 2 freaking hours of sleep before I rushed to school. Yea, that's the kind of life I am leading right now, and it only happens on submission days. Kind of upset with myself for my poor time management but I realized I could only write/work/come out with ideas when the submission day is nearing. Weird.

Back to topic.
I wrote my whole story from the main character's point of view. I just wrote whatever came to my mind because I knew I was rushing for time and ideas doesn't come to me easily. It was also at that moment, I realized how different it is compared to writing a composition during pri and sec schools. Everything was different. The writing style, words used, content, theme, etc. I really like reading my friend's story/script. The way the express the characters' thoughts/expression/action is way better than mine. The specific words that they used, the feeling.. I am impressed and hopes to be like them.

Alright, photo of the day....
After 1 year.
I finally decided to cut my hair after letting it grow for a year, after all the crazy working schedules.

Okay back to work now. Remember, change of perspective is very useful. And crazy schedules up ahead. Having shoots on the third and fourth day of cny, a 1.5 - 2k words of proposal after cny break, final project for computer graphics shoot and a full script for storytelling before school terms end. Seriously, FMS lived up to it's name - Forever Missing Sleep.

Goodbye 2010

Submitted my loc prod assignment today with a heavy heart. I know my video, script, editing and everything is not the best but I did my best. Being a beginner in directing, writing, producing and editing, I have lots to learn and a long way to go. I envy my friend's editing and hope to be like them, however, everything takes time. Xy, Jiayou! Work hard and one day, you will get what you wished for. Hang in there and move on. (:

Gonna do a review of 2010 tomorrow like last yr's. Think it's kinda fun recalling.

Goodbye 2010, thanks for this fruitful year.

Short update

Hi guys!

Been MIA from here for so long! Have been really busy with my own shoot and also helping out with my friends' shoots. It was really awesome to work with them, knowing that they will be there no matter how hard things are going to be. Seriously owe them a lot of my shoot. Really appreciate their help and effort in making every shoot possible. Not forgetting the fun and laughter we had during the shoots.

Now, 2010 is ending.. I will be back to update soon before 2010 ends. Have a good time people!

Fucked up eh

Somehow being in the same diploma as your siblings is not a good idea because not only will the lecturers compare you, they will also make use of your siblings as an excuse.

Yes, very WTF. Seriously lecturer, I am paying attention in class, am not surfing facebook because it's boring much and never will I play games in class because it's very lame. So lecturer, if you have nothing to do, I hope you would extend our assignments deadline instead.

Reflection for Week 4

I did not post for week 3 because there is nothing much to talk about. Just another slack week I would say.

So Week 4 is over and I could see the stress period ahead.
Had a small presentation during Jumpstart on Monday (a waste of time) but I think it is so much better than last semester's IS.

Had another small presentation on Tuesday's Storytelling class about Aristotle. We had to write a short story using our classmates' characters from the People-watch exercise. It was fun but because I don't know what to write, like seriously no idea and inspirations. I think I've lost touch to writing ever since 'O' level ended.

We had WritCom test on Thursday and it's group work again! I love it, because we get to discuss it with our peers before submitting. At least three brains is better than one. :D Location Sound was fun too because we had role-play again.

Had Photoshop Test in the morning on Friday and it sucks. ): I forgot everything on layer masking and just tried my luck on everything that I could think of. Is it 20 or 25% of my overall result? Ahhh, whatever. It's over. Let's move on.....

To-do list:
- Update my a photo a day blog
- script for loc prod
- storyboard for loc prod )': (nightmare)
- all the paper work for loc prod
- mywritinglab
and the list goes on...

Reflection for Week 2

Hello readers! :D

So, week 2 of school and its still nothing much to do/happening. I missed Semester 1 so so much, perhaps due to photography because we will also have something to do every lesson.

First week of Yoga lesson was not bad. However, I couldn't really hear or understand what the teacher is talking because she's like talking to herself for the whole lesson. We built roller coaster during IS class. 60mins allowance = anyhow build.

Tuesday was a horrible day. I left house early but reached the class 2minutes late and was being marked absent. Hellooooooo lecturer, not all your students can fly from SIM/NP bus stop to FMS block you know? However, she's quite nice actually, and willing to listen to our explanation. During write comm, we had to copy notes and I always thought that scribbling notes in class had already ended after o levels. But now, it's back ): And during write comm tutorial today, we had a small presentation which I think I screwed it up. Gahhhhhh! Sleepy + tired + don't know what the notes is talking about = sibeh jialat.

Computer graphics is very boring BUT I learnt something new yesterday! I finally know how to make panorama photos using photoshop and I didn't know that vanishing point actually existed in photoshop! Amazing~ Oh, I did mywritinglab exercises with Felicia & Phoebe after class. Must tell myself to finish it faster so that I don't have to care about it in the next few months before deadline.

We had location sound today and it was fun. Should have seen my priceless facial expression when lecturer actually knew that I'm JJ's sis (like very randomly). Still wondering who told him actually (I think is XQ). Photobooth-ed too!

Alright, time to do other stuffs. (:

To-do list:
- update a polaroid a day blog
- five 50-words short stories for storytelling
- watch DVDs yooooooo~
- dinner with Sien & Pauline tomorrow night
- re-write my almost unreadable write comm notes
- need some inspirations

Long weekends (Y) Ciao~

Week 1 Reflection

Semester 2 just started but I'm sorry to say that I am still in the HOLIDAY mood. Yes, holiday mooooood. (:

I personally felt that most modules from this semester are BITCH! Seriously. What's up with Sports & Wellness, Write Communication and Computer Graphics? At least Ideas Jumpstart was not as bad as I thought.

I took up YOGA for S&W (don't laugh at me) with Joanne & Dean. Hahaha, slackers yea. Actually I chose Yoga because I thought that I could hide those scars on my legs by wearing long pants but we're all required to wear only knee-length shorts. ): I couldn't find any ways to cover them also and thinking of what to do now - to hide or leave it?

Anyway, storytelling lesson was okay because we're allowed to use laptop - the only thing that could keep us awake, I guessed. Three-quaters of the class were tweeting (our new way of msn) non-stop and some of them even bitch about our own classmates. However, it's very entertaining though. All of us were asked to create a wordpress for our writing exercises and reflections. Had no idea what to name it, so this is the best I could think of: http://xywrite.wordpress.com
I'll be posting my storytelling exercises and some reflections over there so feel free to read them too. (:

Write Communication was a totally bitch during the lecture but tutorial was okay. Perhaps due to the amount of students in the lecture theatre, the lecturer tend to be more fierce and strict. Oh, and during the tutorial, we are required to do some grammar and sentence structure test. I failed 2 out of 4 but managed to pass the overall. HEHEHE. And if I am not wrong, there will be presentation during thursday's tutorial (NOOOOOOOOO).

Computer Graphics was very boring on the first lesson because all we did was revising for our photoshop skills. I even fell asleep without anyone knowing :D because we were seated in a cubicle kind.

Location sound was fun! Lame jokes and fun classmates = good lesson.
There's no Location Production class this week because lecturer went for reservist!! (Y)

I could feel the stress after knowing what we're supposed to do for our final assignment for each module. It's way more tiring and stress compared to last semester. What I could conclude is that I would be awake for more than 48 hours during the last week of school for sure.
XY JIAYOU!!

Anyway, caught 'The Social Network' by David Fincher just now. Couldn't imagine how much problems were caused because of the creation of facebook and also the fragility of friendship.

LAST WEEK OF SEMESTER!

Okay, I am slow but I'm busy because of photography this few days!

Monday, went to school to do a final edit for audio commercial and after that, went to shoot the remaining shots for storyboard. & chiong for 3 test for the next day.

Tuesday, a very hectic day, started off with Audio test! After that, was photography test and I confirm score at it cause I got study. Whahha. But I screwed up my Intro to film test big time because I didn't study at all and ended up, I only got 1.5/10. Clever or what! 10% for my final grade k! wth! Oh, tuesday is also the start of my sleepless day because I have to edit for storyboard which turns out like shit~

Wednesday was fucked up seriously because of storyboard presentation. Everyone was very depressed and discouraged but who cares because it's over and get over it man! (: Bitched with classmates and I went home to chiong for my podcast. Second day without sleep.

Thursday was awesome. I completed my podcast at 10.30am!! Then I rushed to school because I was late for setting up the SET & Lighting for Studio Production. After lunch, the whole SEMESTER watched the podcasts together. T1B1 went off for studio production recording at 4pm so I did not listen and watch to my own podcast and I am very happy about it! :D Preparation for recording was bullshit but we had fun among ourselves. Went to help to carry mattress from sports complex and we got a FREE RIDE back to FMS Block thanks to this kind construction uncle who agreed to give us a ride back. So fun. Recording went off very smoothly and we had nice brownies, curry puffs and corn kueh thanks to FATIN! :D Went to al-azhar for dinner. & Haikal was inside Lincoln's car boot from NP to al-azhar!! Dangerous kids. Had a damn funny and awesome bitching session over there. & we went home at 11.30pm and Xinying finally can sleep after being awake for more than 48hours. Gangsterrrrrrr sia.

Friday we had audio practical test. However due to the awesome bitching session the night before, everyone was late. Thila & I went to help out in the next class' studio production recording and came back for our practical test. Anyhowwwwww only. Went back to help out after practical test and I have to say that T1B1 is really very bonded, thanks god. I pity the next class recording. They screwed up for both Interview & Demo show.
Headed to JP to find Mcvie Chua for a catch up session. He treated me to watch the "Old Cow" film which is a waste of money. -.-

Alright! End of semester 1. I hope I don't get to see fucked up people in the next semester and I love the bitching group! :D

Photography assignment due on 16Aug! Jiayou!

Week 15 Reflections

YAY PEOPLE! It's week 15 alrd!!! 1 more freaking week of madness.

Stayed at home on Monday because I don't need to go for IS class anymore. And did all sorts of stuffs trying to clear at least some work.

Chinboo gave us some tips on our test next week and after that we had photography lecture whereby we also have test the next week. Intro to film, we watched a film on animation. VERY BORING. ):

Went for photography consultation on wed morning. And when I was about to go off to meet Qamariah & Xq, it rained heavily and our plans were ruined. ): However, we postponed our plans to next Saturday! So it better don't rain. :D I headed down to Bugis with Qamariah and after that went back to JVS for a shoot for my storyboard. Great to have a good catch up with them.

Thursday was horrible. We wasted time in Studio because Douglas said that we can't possibly have rehearsal without the talents. So he released us 2 hours earlier and we ended up having 3 hours of break. Had class lunch at SIM and rotted at the Attice after lunch and slept. Hahaha. Had Intro to film and we watched '300' a damn bloody show. Art & Design was crap beside we only need to show him what we have done and we can go off. The funny part was at night, when I was locked outside the TSO room with 16 track equipment. What grace did was jus to stare at me thinking that I have the solution to open the door. WTF right.

Headed to school early in the morning to return the equipments which Melissa kept in the other room and spent my time watching 'Power Sunday'. HAHA. Then had fun with classmates in 16 track. Went for FMS Photo Club meeting. :D (Xinying finally got CCA.) Had our 30 second commercial presentation and I think my group had the lousiest and crappiest commercial ):

Today is Saturday and I wish that I have a longer weekend. there's so many things that need to be done. ):

Week 14 Reflection

Week 14 already people! 2 more weeks of madness and that's it! :D
Basically, I love week 14. It's awesome.

First, on Monday we had IS presentation and got a B. And it also marks the end of my IS lessons because I'm not going to waste my time in there anymore. Watched Despicable Me to mark the end of IS. Whahhahas. They're so cute. :D

I don't know what happened to everyone on Tuesday because all of them went crazy. Seriously. During Photography lecture, everyone spammed the google spreadsheet for Photography consultation. During Intro to Film, we watched 'Super Size Me' and it's freaking disgusting that I decided to sleep throughout the rest of the show.

Photography Consultations means you go school for only 15mins. After that, went to eat at Island Creamery with SiEn and went to the Bukit Timah Railway station to shoot and to McRitche but apparently McRitche doesn't suit my theme. I went to Haw Par Villa alone after that. Such a nice place but it got abandoned. ):

Went to setup our set for Interview Show before class starts. Eventually, when Intro to Film was about to start, the whole class walked passed Studio and came in. So the whole class was late for Melanie's class. :X After that was Art & Design consultation. It ended super early. Had 2 plates of Kaki Fuyong shared by 3 people. Hahaha. After that had recording for Art & Design and homed.

Friday we had our Interview Show and it was more than a success! :D Omg, seriously have to thank both Lincoln and Si En and everyone who have helped us, even T1B2 came to help. It's really awesome working with Lincoln because he had alot of experience and the way he direct, is excellent. *Salute* Even Douglas said so. Had audio tutorial but everyone was doing their own stuffs instead.

Awesome mudpie from Island Creamery
Looks old but still standing strong

Week 13 Reflections

Heheeee. I am 1 week late for my week 13 reflections.
FSV student ah, too busy to even note down everything. :X

Monday
It's a super boring lesson where we watched a film about suicide bombers. IS is a super waste of time module.

Tuesday
Wasn't really listening in Audio Tech lecture because I was looking through Intro to Film notes and taking down some important stuffs that ChinBoo mentioned. Had Photography Quiz and yes, I did study but I mixed up the answers for some questions. Then SKL showed us the 4 stars & 5 stars photographs for photography assignment #2. Damn sad leh. I only got one 5 stars photo and four 4 stars photo but hopefully I can score better than assignment #1. Film quiz I anyhow only.. and got 6/10. Whahahs.

Wednesday
Do some research for our Portfolio thingy and got to know my Photography assignment #1 result also. Not very happy because I thought I could get my what I wanted but no, disappointment instead. However, I got over it after awhile and decided to focus more on my Portfolio instead. Hehe.

Thursday
Had rehearsal for our Interview show, and it started off damn badly but ended nicely done. :D There's still room for improvement though but we did our best. Had our last Intro to Film research project and got A+ again. Hehe. Art & Design was boring. However Zhenyu damn cute. He entered the class saying "HEY YO MATTHEW!" and Mr Ng looked at him wondering what the hell he is doing. Hahaha.

Friday
Most awesome day of the week. Hahaha. Bought Mcnuggets Spicy to school to share. Nice, can try. Learnt new stuffs but I forgot how does it work as I am typing this. LOL. Okay, I shall practice my audio equipment whenever I am free next week. Xinying must do well for Audio Practical because she think she will die in Theory test.
